‘We are absolutely delighted that Biddulph Town Council has won the ‘Best New Entry’ and a ‘Silver Award’ in the Town and Parish Council category at the Cemetery of the Year Awards yesterday.
From groundskeeping and preservation to working closely with families and the community, we take great pride in ensuring that this is a place of respect, beauty, and remembrance. This award reflects our ongoing commitment and affirms the care and respect we strive to uphold every day.
Thank you to everyone who has played such an important part in the day-to-day management of our burial grounds.’
The free to entry competition is open to any burial authority (cemetery or churchyard) within the UK.
It’s designed to improve standards within burial grounds, but also to encourage compliance with legislation and support best practice.
The award reflects the high standards of maintenance at the site and the quality and choice of services offered to the bereaved.
