Shopping online or out of town may save a little time and/or money, but buying locally supports your local traders, boosts the local economy and rebuilds confidence in our community post Covid-19 restrictions.
Shops and businesses, that have given their consent, are listed in our refreshed online ‘Biddulph Directory.’ (see separate page).
Biddulph Town Council hosts an Artisan Market on the first Friday of the month, between 9am and 3pm, to complement the town’s offering and increase footfall (see separate Markets page).
Click here to download your tri-fold leaflet listing the traders and their contact numbers ‘‘On Our Streets.’
Printed paper versions are available from Biddulph Town Hall Reception.
We hope you find it informative and useful.
Emerging Regeneration Plan
As part of the Neighbourhood Plan development, community engagement highlighted the aspiration to maintain and support the town centre, including promoting the re-use of vacant units and buildings, promoting the re-use of heritage assets and ensuring the suitable future and diversity of our rural garden town.
Our priorities are listed below:
- Nurturing our green spaces and enhancing our community assets.
- Supporting new and existing communities.
- Strengthening the town centre and the local economy with physical enhancements.
- Encouraging tourism.
- Integrating wellbeing into all we do.
These aspirations from the starting point of our emerging ‘Regeneration Plan’, to be shared throughout Autumn 2021.
