Come along, grab a drink, and enjoy a brilliant film together with friends and neighbours.
The Ballad of Wallis Island follows Charles, an eccentric lottery winner living alone on a remote island. When he invites his favourite band, McGwyer Mortimer, to reunite for a private show, their old wounds and buried feelings begin to resurface. It’s a story of music, memory, and second chances — full of heart, humour, and soul.
This is a free event, run by and for our local community. Bring your friends, get comfy, and be part of an evening of great storytelling and shared moments.
Free films, friendly faces – every first Friday at Biddulph Scratch.
