Join us as the community of Biddulph comes together to mark Victory Over Japan (VJ) Day with a time of remembrance and reflection.
Reflections Service
10:45 AM – Please gather at the Cenotaph in St Lawrence’s Churchyard
11:00 AM – Service of Reflection begins
We will pause together in a respectful service to remember those who served and sacrificed during the Second World War, and to reflect on the end of conflict in the Far East.
Free Fish & Chip Lunch
Following the service, all attendees are invited to enjoy a complimentary Fish & Chip lunch in the School Room at St Lawrence’s.
