Mining Heritage Exhibition – TBC
Step inside the Town Hall to explore our Mining Heritage Exhibition, honouring the town’s proud industrial past.
Biddulph Town Council is proud to announce plans for a Mining Exhibition, commemorating the rich history of our town and the miners who helped shape it. This special event will be held in the Town Hall, coinciding with the unveiling of the new Town Hall frontage, featuring named bricks purchased by the families and friends of our mining community.
This celebration also follows the introduction of new mining lanterns on St John’s Road — a glowing tribute to our past.
We are now looking for items and photographs to include in the exhibition. If you have any memorabilia, photographs, tools, clothing, or other items linked to Biddulph’s mining history, we would love to hear from you.

This celebration forms part of the UK-wide Heritage Open Days, connecting communities with the rich stories of their past.
