Dear Business Owner,
Re: Pie and Pea Supper
Biddulph Town Council was delighted to host the Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce at the Town Hall in Spring 2022, and we know that a number of local businesses were able to access important support and funding as a result of this. Following this, the Town Council has been looking at the role of local businesses within other towns. In many of the most proactive towns, there is an active group of traders who hold events and activities that increase trade, both on the High Street and elsewhere within the town. During challenging times, this would be a really beneficial step and we are keen to ensure that local businesses are able to meet, put on events and seek support when needed.
We would like to invite you to a pie and pea supper at the Town Hall on Thursday 15 September at 6pm. We would be delighted if you could join us, and ask that you confirm whether you can attend and whether you have any dietary requirements. There is no charge for attending this event. This invitation is being sent to as many businesses as we are aware of within the town, but we are conscious that there will be some groups and individuals that do not have a presence in a shop or office. Please do pass this invitation on to other business owners that you know; ‘the more the merrier’. We hope that this will be the start of a Biddulph business group and that we can support you over the coming months and years as the challenges with increasing bills and a changing customer base continue.
In the meantime, if there is anything we can do to support you, please do get in touch.
Yours sincerely
Sarah Haydon
Chief Officer.
