Come and enjoy two vintage films . . .
Piccadilly is a sumptuous show business melodrama –
with an original screenplay by Arnold Bennett. One of the
pinnacles of British silent cinema.
The screenplay will be accompanied with an original score
by Ashley Thompson on piano.
In Mister Cinders, Bill is an all-day-worker at his rich uncle’s estate, where he is wanted everywhere and by everyone, even
by the local theatre group. He manages his two dull stepbrothers and his aunt, until a smart Princess Charming disguised as a
Fairy Goodmother maid appears and makes him go to a ball
that will change his life.
