Biddulph in Bloom is a voluntary group with Charity status who are trying to improve the environment of Biddulph and its surrounds.
During our 23 years of activity we have planted 2,500 street trees, 1,000’s of spring bulbs, restored and created hedgerows, care for an allotment and a small nature reserve. We have done very well in the regional and national Britain in Bloom competition for several years – including a Gold National Award in 2013!
For the summer months we plan, plant and maintain flower displays throughout the town using 10,000 plants.
We see our work as an attempt to regenerate the town and to give the community a sense of pride.
If you would like to be a volunteer please ring Hilda Sheldon. Volunteers usually meet every Thursday – rain or shine!
