90 Glorious Years of Queen Elizabeth II is the theme for this year’s festival parade.
A colourful, fun and musical walk by local children and community groups to celebrate the 90th birthday of QEII. Entertainment will take place on and around the town hall frontage while the children in the parade enjoy a free snack, kindly provided by Sainsbury’s. Everyone is most welcome to join the parade. Festival Organ Recital by Prof. Dr Ian Tracey

We are thrilled that Prof. Dr. Ian Tracey, one of the finest organists in the country, will return to perform this year’s festival organ recital on our fine Machin digital organ. Ian has a lifelong association with Liverpool Cathedral and a rightly earned international reputation as a church musician. He illustrates his music with warmth, humour and many anecdotes. As in previous years the audience is assured of another programme of wonderful organ music to delight. Compelling!
